- Taxidermy is a craft business with a software problem. A single mount can sit in a studio for months, moving through intake, tanning, mounting, finishing and pickup — while the studio owner tracks it all on paper tickets, a whiteboard and a spreadsheet. Our client saw an industry running on tools built for nobody in particular, and set out to build the one platform made specifically for it.
- We engineered TSS Pro end to end: a web-based business management platform that gives taxidermy studios a single dashboard for customers, jobs, invoices, payments and day-to-day workflow. Built on a Laravel and MySQL backend with a React.js and Next.js front end, the platform handles the full job lifecycle — from the moment a customer drops off a specimen to the final invoice being marked paid — with technician time tracking, reporting and secure, role-based data management built in.
- The result is a purpose-built SaaS product rather than a generic CRM bent into an unfamiliar shape. Studio owners see every open job and its stage at a glance, technicians log hours against the work they’re actually doing, and customers get their own portal to check progress without picking up the phone — replacing the calls, paper tickets and guesswork the industry had been living with.
