- The printing and signage trade runs on quotes, proofs and custom orders — and most of it still happens over email, phone and disconnected tools. Our client saw an industry of independent print sellers with no shared digital home: no easy way to spin up a storefront, take orders online, or connect payments, accounting and shipping into one flow. They came to us to build the platform that would give the sector its own dedicated marketplace.
- We engineered Printobi as a complete multi-vendor marketplace built specifically for the printing industry. Sellers create their own custom webstore and list print and signage services; customers browse, order and pay in one place. Built on a Vue.js front end with a Laravel and MySQL backend, the platform ties together Stripe for secure payments, QuickBooks for automated accounting, and VPS Shipping for fulfilment — so an order placed by a customer flows through billing, bookkeeping and delivery without the seller stitching it together by hand.
- The result is a purpose-built marketplace rather than a generic ecommerce template. Print sellers get industry-specific storefront tools and intuitive design controls to launch fast; customers get a single trusted place to buy printing and signage services; and every order is wired end to end — payment captured through Stripe, recorded in QuickBooks, and dispatched through VPS Shipping — from a single connected platform.
