- Collectibles retail is a business of scarcity and detail — single-stock rare cards, limited runs, condition grades and hobbyists who know exactly what they’re after. A generic store template struggles with it: stock counts drift, sold-out rarities linger, and buyers lose trust fast. Our client needed an eCommerce platform built to handle a real collectibles catalogue with accuracy.
- We engineered DM Collectables as a complete online store for collectible items, trading cards and hobby products. Customers browse the catalogue, purchase securely, and track their orders from checkout to doorstep, while the retailer manages stock through built-in inventory controls that keep listings accurate. Built on a React/Next.js front end with a Node.js and TypeScript backend on PostgreSQL, the platform delivers a fast, modern shopping experience engineered to be reliable and type-safe from the ground up.
- The result is a purpose-built retail platform rather than an off-the-shelf template. Shoppers get smooth browsing, secure purchasing and clear order visibility; the business gets inventory management and order tracking that keep a fast-moving collectibles catalogue accurate and under control — all on a modern stack ready to scale with the store.
