Every estimate means sitting down after a long day, working out materials and labour, and typing up something that looks professional enough to win the job hours that aren’t billable and aren’t spent on the tools. Our client saw an entire trade losing evenings to admin, and set out to hand the job to AI.
- We engineered CraftOffer as an AI-powered quote generation platform built specifically for craftsmen and service businesses. Using OpenAI, it turns a description of a job into a professional, accurately priced estimate in minutes automating the calculation, structuring the pricing, and producing something clean enough to send straight to a customer. Built on a Next.js front end with a Node.js and TypeScript backend on PostgreSQL, the platform is engineered as a modern, type-safe product with GDPR (DSGVO) compliance built in for the European market.
- The result is a purpose-built tool, not a generic invoice app with AI bolted on. Craftsmen describe the work, CraftOffer drafts the quote, and what took an evening now takes minutes — saving time, sharpening pricing accuracy, and improving how these businesses communicate with their customers.
