- The office birthday card used to mean a physical card smuggled desk to desk and signed in secret. Remote and hybrid teams broke that ritual — you can’t pass a card around when half the team is in another city. Our client set out to bring the moment back online: one shared card the whole team can sign, from anywhere, without the friction of accounts and logins.
- We engineered ExpressWithACard as a complete digital group card platform. Anyone can create a personalised card and invite colleagues, friends or family to add messages, photos, videos or GIFs — no account required. AI helps users design a beautiful card in seconds, and a gift collection can be added in a single click so the group can pool funds alongside their messages. Built on a Vue.js front end with a Laravel and MySQL backend and integrated AI, the platform makes setting up a group card genuinely effortless.
- The result is a purpose-built celebration product, not a generic card maker. Teams choose a classic card or a group message board, share a single link, and collect unlimited heartfelt messages for farewells, birthdays, work anniversaries and team celebrations — with AI doing the design work and a frictionless, colleague can add their message instantly.
